Saw this commuting to work, the driver was younger than me I think. Lovely car, and a nice exhaust note too.

There was a bug like that paint job on CL for a long while with no engine for $750 in central MO. At first glance I thought this was it.
Good stuff. I don’t think I’ll ever own a beetle.

I would absolutely love a Baja bug. I would DD it too as much as I could.

Looks great.

That looks pretty 80's.
I spotted a beetle today too. It was in unrestored stock condition. The seats were pristine, but the rest of the appearance was rough and awesome.
I have a picture of it, but Kinja doesn’t want me to share it.

Yeah, especially since it just came down a dirt road.

Kinja is essentially a mean older brother who won’t let anyone have fun.

It seems so. Still no pictures coming up.

I saw a Manx on the road just yesterday. I almost dropped my phone trying to get a picture of it. I missed.
It’s time to look into a quick-draw holster for my phone.

There’s a Manx in the junkyard nearby. Needs new floorboards though.

That’s when you do a full swap - lift the body off the rotted pan and drive a new one underneath it.
